Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of AuraCheck (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Age requirement (13+)

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old (or older if required by local law). If you are under 13, you may not use the Service.

2. What the Service is (and isn't)

AuraCheck is a lightweight social product for receiving and viewing vibe/aura-related feedback and outputs. The feedback flow is selection-based and does not support free-text submissions or messaging. The Service is for entertainment and informational purposes only and is not professional advice (including medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Harassment, bullying, or abuse of any kind
  • Share unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content
  • Threaten, dox, extort, or invade someone's privacy
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Spam, attempt to bypass rate limits, or abuse the Service
  • Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service, including scraping or probing for vulnerabilities

4. Content and submissions

You are responsible for anything you submit through the Service (including selections and related inputs). You represent you have the rights to submit it and that it does not violate the law or anyone's rights. We may remove, restrict, or disable content and features at any time for safety, integrity, or policy reasons.

We may offer Report and Hide this link on public vibe pages. Report lets you flag a concern to us; we may review and take action we consider appropriate. Hide this link only saves a preference on your current device (for example, in your browser) so you can stop seeing that page there; it does not remove or change content in our systems for other people.

5. AI outputs and third-party services

Parts of the Service may use third-party AI providers and other vendors. We may send limited input data needed to generate outputs (for example: selected traits, aggregated trait labels, a vibe category, and prior outputs for duplication-avoidance). Third-party providers operate their own systems and policies.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party outputs. AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable. You use AI-generated outputs at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim responsibility and liability for third-party outputs and for decisions you make based on them.

6. No warranty

AuraCheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee availability or accuracy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuraCheck and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AuraCheck and its operators from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

9. Third-party services and links

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, content, policies, security, or practices of third parties.

On the website, users we reasonably identify as being in the European Economic Area (EEA) may see an advertising/cookie consent banner and related choices; other regions may not see that same notice. When location cannot be reliably determined, that notice may not appear. How we infer location is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the Service in a way that could harm others or the Service.

Your account: You may end your use of the Service and request closure of your in-app account at any time through the Delete my account option in the app menu (where available). How we handle that process, and what we retain, is described in our Privacy Policy (including the "Delete my account (in the app)" section). Certain obligations in these Terms (for example, limits of liability and indemnity for past use) may still apply to events that occurred before you deleted your account.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where AuraCheck operates, excluding conflict of law rules. You agree to first contact us at support@auracheck.link (or through the app) and attempt informal resolution before filing any formal claim.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
